You're visiting the finest restaurant in town with your partner. You both planned this dinner to bond and and rebuild intimacy. Of course, you look so gorgeous and heads won't stop turning as you make your way to you seat. Your gentleman ensures you're comfortable before taking his. While you await your meals, you strike up a conversation. He responds briefly and then shifts his gaze from you to his mobile device. For a moment you assume he is attending to an urgent matter but then he smiles. Then laughs. Then blushes. Eyes glued to his device without a cursory glance at you. What will you do?
This of course, is not a parable. It's the reality of many of your timeouts with me. You create an atmosphere of worship with so much hunger and desire. I also do not leave you ignorant, as I commanded the children of Israel to have My Word (actions, law and testimonies) on their lintel and clothings, on their lips and in their hearts. The sweetness in our walk lies in your ability to meditate (speak, utter, study, imagine, and muse) on Me.

Literally, take a walk with me . You do not behold in a hurry, you'd only catch a glimpse. You cannot listen in a rush, you'd only hear faintly. The blessings for those who walk and those who pause are yours.
