“Christ loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her… that she should be holy and without blemish.”

Ephesians 5:25–27

, my beloved bride. Let us talk about our love, our consecrated love. This love is holy, intentional and true. For you have been set apart, marked and devoted unto Me. Your life is qadosh, our love a covenant I sufficiently keep. Your body is My dwelling place. So will it be too much to ask that you live awake?

Don't sleep in compromise. Don't be distracted by routine. Don't be weary in waiting. Like the wise virgins, tend the flame of intimacy and keep your oil full in preparation for My coming. Like a new bride excited to meet her groom, keep your love ever ready and my face always before you.

, I have placed my seal upon you, a promise of my return and a testament to whom you belong to. You do not journey this path of betrothal alone, for the Spirit reminds you who you are. He keeps you sensitive. He leads you away from what dulls your love and toward what deepens it. He is your greatest advantage if you'd let him hold your hand.

So stay awake, my bride! This is a call to purity, to protection and devotion. It is love saying, “I am yours.” Stay tender to the nudgings of my spirit. Stay prepared, for your bridegroom will return; it might be quicker than you expect or later than you anticipated, but just in time.

I am nearer than you think, and I am pleased with you.

Tomorrow, we adorn my bride.

With holy affection,

Your Bridegroom
