Life is binary.

What do I mean by that?

Just 2 and a half weeks ago, one of my younger cousins (whom I am coaching to become better at boxing) started slacking.

Why?

My cousin was filled with overconfidence because he was sparing with average & newbie boxers and winning every game.

But then, I decided to level up the game for him, just like video games.

He didn't last long against an above-average boxer.

He lost all his confidence & his performance started degrading day by day.

So, I decided to ask him, what's the problem? Don't you wanna get better & beat everyone?

He said, "Yes bro, I do, but all of these guys are above my level. I am never going to be able to beat them."

I know he had the potential to become better & beat everyone he was competing with but his self-belief is limiting his potential.

That's the same thing happening to a majority of you.

Do you think every problem you face will be at the same level?

Definitely NO.

The difficulty of your problems and the people you compete with are going to get better each time.

It's your responsibility to keep getting better each day.

If you are on the path to achieving greatness, you cannot risk slacking off on your goals.

It doesn't matter what your excuse is,

A win is a WIN.

A loss is a LOSS.

You either WIN or LOSE.

That's why life is binary.
