Something Is Building in the Self-Reliance Community

Events like the Thrive Self-Reliance Summit are more than just gatherings—they’re hubs where the preparedness, homesteading, and self-reliance communities connect, learn, and discover the tools and people helping them build resilient lives.
Some may remember us from the Denver Self-Reliance Expo at Arapahoe County or Knoxville, Tenn, in 2022.
Exhibitors may remember little amenities like the refreshment area and lunch, or the runners provided to ensure their needs were met, or just the connected feel. The way it felt like a gathering instead of just an expo. We still strive for all of this and more.
DJ & Tabby wanted to incorporate so much more into the events and have taken time to consider the needs of the Self-Reliance Community. You might note our new branding that builds on the POSH foundation. Acknowledging that the facets of each are separate while related in that each builds on and enhances the other. No structure can be properly supported without a solid foundation. Because of this, they've created the Thrive Self-Reliance Summit to encapsulate the community as a whole while remembering the importance of those who actively engage in the community.
Our Exhibitors
The location is amazing! Offering multiple spaces, indoors and out, and we hope to create a flow for the attendees that maximizes visibility for our exhibitors.
There are three indoor spaces and a courtyard. See the website for more.
For businesses, instructors, and creators in this space, exhibiting or speaking isn’t just about having a table. It’s about becoming part of the growing movement of people committed to practical skills, independence, and preparedness.
Here are a few reasons why vendors and speakers choose to participate.
Direct Access to a Highly Targeted Audience
The Thrive audience isn’t casual foot traffic. These are people who actively seek out products, services, and information about:
- preparedness gear
- homesteading tools and resources
- outdoor and survival equipment
- self-reliance training and education
- books, services, and community resources
- supplies and off-grid technology
- and so much more.
When you exhibit or teach at Thrive, you're connecting with people already interested in what you offer because that is who we seek to attend.
In the coming weeks, we will be rolling out more details of our marketing plan, which has been specifically crafted to engage attendees while also offering online access to all classes, providing greater visibility and options. Not only do we hope to see the foot traffic at the event, but we also provide a space where those who may be unable to attend can find our exhibitors in their online presence.
Massive Online Visibility Before the Event
Every exhibitor and speaker is featured on the Thrive website FOREVER, giving attendees a chance to discover who will be at the event ahead of time but also long after.
But it doesn’t stop there.
Each exhibitor will also be spotlighted in a dedicated social media post shared across preparedness and self-reliance groups, reaching over 500,000 community members.
That means your business gains visibility not just at the event—but across a large and highly engaged audience before the summit even begins.
Early Exhibitors Receive the Most Exposure
Businesses that register early receive an additional benefit.
Early exhibitors may be featured in:
- Summit promotional graphics
- Social media advertisements for the event
- Exhibitor highlight campaigns leading up to the summit
In other words, the sooner you secure your spot, the more opportunities there are for your brand to be included in event marketing.
Build Authority as a Leader in the Community
For instructors and speakers, the Thrive Summit is an opportunity to:
- teach practical skills
- share expertise with a motivated audience
- build credibility in the preparedness and self-reliance space
- grow your audience and customer base
Attendees come specifically to learn. That makes it an ideal platform for experts who want to educate while building lasting connections.
Strengthen Your Network
Many of the strongest partnerships in the preparedness and homesteading world start at events like this.
Exhibiting or speaking at Thrive allows you to connect with more than just attendees. You will meet:
- other vendors
- instructors and authors
- content creators
- community leaders
Those relationships often extend far beyond the event itself.
Secure Your Spot Early
Exhibitor tables and speaker opportunities are juried to ensure no product or service is oversaturated, and early registration ensures your place while also increasing your chances of being included in summit promotions.
If your business or expertise serves the preparedness, homesteading, or self-reliance community, we would love to have you involved.
