Dear Friends,
What if your teen could enjoy post-apocalyptic fiction and learn real-world preparedness through the eyes of someone their own age?
DJ Cooper first met Aidan at the Self-Reliance Expo in Aurora, Colorado, way back in 2022. Aidan loved the post-apocalyptic genre, but was also more knowledgeable about preparedness than many adults. Aidan wanted to learn to write and started writing apocalyptic books that could speak to a generation about the need to be self-sufficient. Those of us at Thrive Self-Reliance and Angry Eagle Publishing are so proud of this young man and can't wait to host him in 2026 back in Colorado.
Fractured Nation: A Post-Apocalyptic Adventure (Sunrise of Chaos Book 1) isn’t just another end-of-the-world story — it’s a bold, eye-opening journey written by a 16-year-old author who sees the fragility of our world and the strength it takes to survive when everything falls apart.
In this gripping, fast-paced tale, a fractured America becomes the training ground for courage, resilience, and leadership. Teens aren’t just the victims of collapse — they’re the ones learning to rebuild.
