Grief does many things to us and for us.

One very important thing it does is it causes us to turn inward towards ourselves. I think that this is a necessary part of our journey because introspection causes us to evaluate what's truly important in life, and it also reminds us that our priority is to express and heal before moving on.

BUT there comes a time when too much introspection can turn toxic, spiraling into loneliness, chronic depression, and unhealthy coping strategies.

For grievers, HEALING looks like turning outward again to reengage in healthy relationships and to see and serve others.

This is hard stuff, and we're not always gonna "feel" like doing it. We're also definitely not gonna feel qualified to comfort others in their pain while we're still sifting through our own.

But we gotta start somewhere. If you're still reading this, I'll bet you're probably ready to try.

Here's a great way to start - by making homemade sympathy cards to give away to others who experienced loss or are just going through a hard time.

And WHAT IF you actually enjoyed making them? (I know, mind blown. Try it.)

*PS: Some of my video projects (including this week's) utilize printable templates - harkening back to the days when these videos were a paid course. I finally figured out how to get these templates to you for FREE. This is a Dropbox link that will allow you to access all the templates you need. I'll add to the folder every time there's a new project with a template. Hope that makes it easier for you!
