, I hope that you had a wonderful Easter!

How do you see your brokenness in light of the finished work of Jesus? I want to invite you to explore your new identity in Christ with another art-as-therapy project.

Have you heard of "kintsugi"?

Life in this world has a way of breaking you into pieces, doesn't it? Whether you're experiencing grief, financial hardship, relational difficulties or mental health struggles, you can rest assured that you are not alone AND that God won't leave you feeling always-shattered.

God, pick up the pieces. Put me back together again. You are my praise!
Jeremiah 17:14 MSG

"KINTSUGI" is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold. This process shows us something about how God loves broken people. He wants to shine through our broken places, and he wants to be the one holding us together.

NEW RESOURCE KITS

I created a resource for small groups that includes instructions and an easy to follow art project inspired by kintsugi. It includes group discussion questions, supplies (including budget-friendly options) and easy setup for facilitators.

Resource kit for GROUPS

Not part of a small group right now? Not to worry. I also created a simple resource for individuals to try this project for themselves from the comfort of home.

Resource kit for INDIVIDUALS

BONUS! Each kit also includes my most popular resource: a creative writing activity you can easily print and do on your own time.

I hope these resources bless you and help make the reality of Easter a little more tangible through this project.

PS: The resource kit for individuals would also make a great gift basket! Simply include the printed resource kit along with the supplies needed to make the project.
