Sometimes I have a resource for you, and sometimes it's just a piece of art I've been working on. Here's my latest piece inspired by Van Gogh's "Starry Night".

This painting took me about 7 hours to complete. It’s called “Lord of the Universe” and it’s about how God is ruler over the day and the night (so I don’t have to be afraid of either). I wanted to evoke a sense of wonder and the feeling of being small and safe.

I had a lot of fun creating it in preparation for a "Names of God" art show at my church. The other bonus is that after the show, it'll join Starry Night portraits I've made of my husband and son in our Starry Night themed living room.

PS: This was last Christmas - I promise you our tree isn't up THAT early!
