Is the Sugar in Fruits good for me?

Hey

For some reason, we have been made to believe that fruits like pineapples, bananas, and some other sweet fruits are bad for us because they contain sugar. I don’t know how we got to this conclusion about these fruits but I want to set you free from it.

Yes, it is true that fruits have a higher sugar content when compared to other whole foods however, there's not enough fructose in fruits to cause you any scare. Fruits contain fructose and also contain fiber and water which are incredibly good for digestion. This means that unlike soda where the fructose hits the liver fast and in large quantities, with fruit, the fructose hits the liver slowly and in small quantities (and this is beneficial for digestion).

If there are any sugars to worry about it’s the added sugars in your cereals, protein bars, some bread, puff-puff, spring rolls, etc because those are the ones that pose a threat to your health.

Except you have been told by a medical doctor to avoid certain fruits (usually due to a diagnosis or potential diagnosis) please free yourself of the fear of sweet fruits because they are NOT harmful.

Fruits are whole foods, some of the best gifts from nature, and should be eaten in abundance. Please enjoy your fruits from today...

I hope this piece of information helps...
