Learning English is essentially being in a relationship with it.

I recently asked my folks in the group about their relationship with English. The choices were:

A) Married: A solid part of my daily life. That's my lifestyle. Use it every day.

B) In a relationship: I'm doing it. I'm doing it a lot. It's going somewhere.

C) It's complicated: I'm doing it sometimes. Sometimes I stop. It's inconsistent and it's messy.

D) I'm free and single: I haven't started/resumed learning yet. I'm not ready. I don't see how

I have a suspicion that you might be in category (C). Am I right? Is it a complicated relationship?

Please tell me about your relationship with English (leave a comment in the group or reply to this email).
