February resources

Hi there ,

This is the monthly edition, where instead of a story, I share some resources, links, and other stuff that might be useful to you.

First off, I'm planning a party (again!)

This time it's about love (and pigeons 🕊 - or other things we love). You don't have to prepare the homework - just show up and be in a good mood. It's free to attend. If you are interested and want to receive updates about this party, please, choose a convenient time in the next 3 days.

My friend Kate is sharing her podcast lessons guides for free. It's an incredible opportunity to have the script and glossary when you listen to something in English, so don't miss it.

When I was cleaning up my Onenote notebooks, I found in my archives this older post "Возможно, вам не надо учить английский язык" which I 100% agree with. I'd love to know what you think about it.

This is what I posted these on social media (in case you missed them):

I added a few more links to the "Community Resources" notebook

  • A link to a free online course on Futurelearn English for the Workplace
  • A link to 2 movie workbooks I created for you - $4 each (section "My products")

This interesting resource is not related to English, but I found it useful. It's called CleanupPictures - you can remove objects or people from the photo, for free.

And finally, a quote that made me pause:

"Patience is a competitive advantage. In a surprising number of fields, you can find success if you are simply willing to do the reasonable thing longer than most people."

- - James Clear

I found from experience that people who lack patience rarely achieve good results in English. Simply because they don't stick around long enough.

Looking forward to seeing you at the party,

Tania.

PS: Don't postpone voting for the party - do it now, before you forget 😉

PPS: If you need a resource or tool, let me know what you're looking for.
