At Value Flow Trading, we present our analysis for the week:
USD; The Dollar is in a bearish trend from the daily and has currently retraced into a premium level for a sell so we are expecting the collapse of the Dollar (No offense to the Americans😉). Any break of structure on the hourly timeframes should give us an entry trigger.
Therefore, we look forward to shorting the dollar (long-term), which implies longing its correlated pairs (GBPUSD, EURUSD) when we see a structure for the dollar sell as illustrated in the markup below.
JPY; The Yen tried to break out to the upside but it was all but a retracement and it now heading to the downside off a weekly breaker. Typical of the Yen, we expect it to take out liquidity residing below on its way in search of a new all-time low.
A strong fundamental news release that would increase momentum to the upside may not be in sight.
GOLD; All through last week we saw Gold Spot still sitting on a long term range. However, the overall trend for Gold still remains bullish. Therefore, we look forward to long the Gold Spot this week when our value flow models align, also when we see a clear bearish structure on the dollar which will give us a confirmation of the Gold Spot long.
