MARKET COLOR FOR THE WEEK 19TH JUNE 2023

Happy new week!
Remember, Trading is a marathon, not a sprint. Stay focused on the long-term goals, maintain a steady pace, and remember that consistency and perseverance are the keys to achieving lasting success.
Last week was a mixed week filled with uncertainties in the market due to the high impact news. We saw all the banks releasing their interest rates and also the unemployment rate.
This week we still expect GBP official bank rate and also some level of stability in the market.
However, here at Value Flow Trading, this is our analysis for the week:
USD: last week we saw a bearish dollar after forming the high of the week on Monday. However dollar is still bullish on the higher time frame and this week, we expect the continuation of the dollar rally.
Therefore, this week on the floor we look forward to longing the dollar, which implies we would be shorting Foreign currency pairs such as GBPUSD, EURUSD and other correlated pairs this week.
JPY: last week we saw a bearish YEN all through the week, as it cleared the last year low and expanded to the downside forming the new all time low in 4 years.
This week, we expect brief retracement, which implies that YEN correlated pairs will be bearish. However, the overall trend for the yen is still a down-trend.
GOLD: Last week we saw Gold spot ranging all through the week. However this week we may see Gold spot rally to about 2000 levels before it continues its bearish trend.
Therefore, we look forward to ride the bearish trend whenever we see a clear structure supporting our sell bias, and also when our Value Flow Model® for Gold aligns.
Make sure you trade cautiously and also use proper risk management for your trades this week.
