Two days ago, the Central Bank of Nigeria ordered banks to begin the collection and remittance of 0.5% from the value of all electronic transactions. What this means is that for every ₦10,000 transaction you make, you'll pay a sum of ₦50 as a cyber security levy.
I think this should be all the more reason why you should consider having another stream of income in foreign currency, because the federal government has decided to take their own share of your income and there is no negotiation about it. You must give to Caesar what belongs to him.
