new book out shortly

In just a few days, I will be releasing my next cozy mystery. I need to know which of you like cozy mysteries and will be downloading and reviewing the book. Last Time I released, many didn't even open the email announcement sent to them, and with my particular email list provider, it marks you as inactive, which means you won't get future announcements. Also, last three times I released books to all of you, fewer than 10% actually put a release on Amazon. Whether it was because you really can't do that according to their rules, or just neglected to do it, the result is the same-this group was set up for feedback on books to me and to send reviews. Reviews are very important to authors. It's how we know what to tweak, what to correct and what our readers like to see. In other words, the ARC reader list was pretty well null as far as doing what it is set up for, which is pretty disappointing considering at ne time, you all signed up to do this.

My list provider and I went through my email lists and they 'purged" the list of any who had not been opening and had not opened an email in the last three months-and I was surprised about 1/3 of the ARC reader list had not bothered to open emails. They've been put in inactive purgatory so to speak until they start opening emails. (I have a general list that everyone is on; they didn't open those either, so they're inactive.)What I want to do is to divide this ARC reader list into those who like a particular genre-so before I release the next mystery, I need to know these things from you:

Which do you prefer: cozy mysteries, fantasy/scifi, or devotional books? Would it help if I only sent you notices for your particular interest?

What would make this process easier (I have already tried to just send you a copy through bookfunnel and found doing that got me 0 reviews or comments. The feedback I did get told me that AMZ wouldn't accept their reviews because they hadn't downloaded from AMZ. I checked and on the next book, I used the process the company prefers. I set the book at free download for three days and did garner six reviews-four of which were not from this list, but just the general public.)

I guess bottom line is, if I don't hear from you, you have sort of voted with your feet; and will remove you from the list due to lack of interest in continuing. I know you like getting free books, but to get them, I need to hear an opinion from you about the book. And to get this next book and notices about it, I really need to hear from you. I will be sending out a request on my webpage for folks to sign up to become arc readers. I hope you want to remain on the team.
