I'm officially an Award-Winning Author!

Best Historical Fiction Novel

Witch Hunt by Casey Moores

Even as an author, I sometimes can't find the words to express myself. This is one of those times. It's an incredible honor and I'd like to thank everyone who nominated me and the judges who voted. This is the encouragement I needed to continue writing in this series.

Three Ravens Press had a good run at the Imaginarium 2022's Imadjinn Awards. They also brought home the Sizemore Award for best small press; the Best Audiobook Narration Award for the Raven and the Crow: Dark Storm Rising, written by Michael K. Falciani and Narrated by Joshua Saxon; Best poetry Collection for Other Worlds by Terry Persun; and the Hollering Holly Award to William Joseph Roberts himself for being the "most outgoing and lively attendee".

Here's all of their awards lined up.

I'd also like to congratulate Barbara V. Evers, who won the Best Fantasy Award for her novel The Watchers in Exile.

The Eldros Legacy continues!

A millennia of peace shattered. The High King murdered. Dragons have crept back into the land.

A thousand years ago, King Ora Lightbringer slew the Demon of Evernight, breaking his stranglehold on the land, suffusing Ora’s body with immortality, and ushering in an unprecedented era of peace.

Ten centuries later, Ora has long since abdicated the throne. No one living even remembers the time when he was king, and he happily travels the countryside with a hand-picked band of adventurers…

…until his great grandson, the High King, is assassinated. The murder sets off an invasion bent on conquering the kingdom, but only after they slay Ora.

Now, the forgotten king must rise again and fight to push back the invaders.

Or not only will his kingdom fall, but all of Drakanon as well.

A new series from William S. Frisbee, Jr.! The cover and title alone have me hooked!

The mission was supposed to be his last.

After more than twenty years in special operations, USMC Gunnery Sergeant Wolf Mathison wasn’t looking forward to retirement when—implanted with an experimental artificial intelligence—he deployed on his last mission with a platoon of Marine Raiders being sent to the Jovian moon Europa.

The USS Jefferson was destroyed en route, though, and only Mathison and three other Marines survived. Trapped in stasis, they were hurled into the outer reaches of the solar system, where they wouldn’t be found for hundreds of years.

Meanwhile, on Earth, the United States is destroyed and a fascist regime rises to power, expanding into the galaxy to plant its boot heel on the necks of humanity. But SOG, the Social Organizational Governance, is not unopposed, and researchers at a top-secret research outpost are working on a solution that will let SOG reign supreme. Unfortunately for the Marines, they’re awakened from stasis at the same time the researchers awaken a threat that endangers the entire human race.

The odds are against them, but that’s nothing new for the Marine Raiders.

Finally, the Abner Fortis saga continues!

The Space Marines won the war. Can they win the peace?

The newly formed Military Assistance Command-Maltaan (MACM), led by General Ellis Boudreaux, is facing serious problems.

The Maltaan rainy season has begun, and the unpredictable weather has significantly reduced flight operations. The east-west highway which connects the capital Daarben to Ulvaan, the only major city in the east, is choked with convoys transporting Precision Crafted Soldiers (PCS) to the helenium mines controlled by the Galactic Resource Conglomerate (GRC). The increasingly vulnerable rail line is the sole means of moving supplies to support Space Marines deployed in the east.

Thousands of PCS were abandoned by their Maltaani and human mercenary handlers, and it’s up to the Space Marines to collect them for the GRC.

The most recent harvest failed because there were no farmers to gather the crops, which has created severe shortages for the Maltaani in the east.

The royalist government, led by King Taalbin, has shown no interest in returning from exile, preferring to leave Maltaan in the hands of General Boudreaux.

And worse, the repatriation program designed to weed out hard core nationalists from the thousands of Maltaani POWs captured during the Space Marine invasion failed. General Staaber, the nationalist leader, slipped through the system and has returned home to lead the burgeoning insurgency. Captain Abner Fortis and his team of operators are only worried about the last problem, though. Their mission: kill General Staaber.

Easy to say, hard to do.

DINLI.
