Customizable real estate investment fund launch. First deal posts in the morning!

Reconnecting
I know it may have been a while since we last connected. I'm reaching out to people I served with, people I've done real estate with over the last 10 years, and old friends. Why? I've been busy the last year exiting totally from single family housing and bracing myself for the coming recession and I'm offering you the chance to come along with me on this journey.
I've set my targets on self storage and closed my first 440 unit deal in Galveston, Texas raising $2.2M with fellow investors. Why self storage? There's many reasons:
- Self storage was the best performing real estate class during the last recession in 2008. It performed better than multifamily, retail, hospitality and all others. Even out performing the SP500, Dow Jones and other stocks indexes. Have you checked your stock portfolio lately?
- Evictions, roof leaks, late night tenant calls. I was fed up. We have none of these issues in self storage. They are simple building structures that are easy to manage and evictions consist of cutting a lock, no lengthy process.
- Inflation resistance. We can adjust rental rates monthly. Not yearly like multi-family and single-family. It's the best way to rise rents with the surging inflation rates.
Needless to say I've been busy preparing for the changing economy. The next deal is primed and ready to release on Friday. But first, let me share where we are headed.
Fund launch
After going through the pains of yet another syndication deal I realized it was time to scale up if I was going to retain access to these deals for my investors. I made the expensive and time consuming decision to register as a 506c fund. But not just any fund, I'm opening a customizable fund where YOU choose which deals and how much to put into each deal. There's a few other value adds to the fund model:
- Speed. Many of the deals I've seen since we closed Galveston have funded in a few days or even hours so I wasn't able to offer you access. With the fund model, your money will be placed and ready to commit with the click of a button.
- Diversity. We will have access to other deals from Radiant Storage and SMB Bradley. You can spread your holdings across different asset classes and locations. I'll even have debt offerings in the mix.
