I'm excited!

I had the most wonderful birthday celebration with my family this past weekend – parents, sister and brother, son, husband, and a whole bunch of cousins, and one of my aunts! My actual birthday was last Friday.

Birthdays can sometimes make you pause and reflect.

And honestly, I'm just so incredibly grateful.

It's amazing to think that I never knew I could feel this passionate and energised, especially at the age of 50!

Setting up this company, TalentJet Group, has been the most profound and enjoyable business lesson of my career.

It's crazy to think that after all these years – starting in radio at 14, doing voiceovers for Capital FM, and even becoming the BBC's first female football commentator – I'm STILL learning and growing and now fully immersed in the world of hiring.

This is my second career, and it feels like I'm just getting started!

I can't remember a time when I've felt so motivated and driven to help as many job seekers and companies as possible.

And that includes YOU.

Thank you for trusting me with your hiring needs. It means the world.

Sharing these moments with my family and reflecting on my work has really highlighted a few key things:

• Passion is power. It fuels everything.
• Keep learning. Always. There's always something new to discover.
• Helping others? The BEST feeling. Making a positive difference is what it's all about.
• Reinvention? It's never too late to pursue your dreams.

So, as I forge ahead with this new chapter in my career, I'm filled with gratitude for the past, joy for the present, and excitement for the future.
