Jambo, !
Do you remember where the greeting is from? It's "hello" in Swahili! It's been the home stretch for the move with the final load of things getting shifted only days ago. More on that below and possible moves in other aspects of life. Now, what have you been up to? Drop me an email and let me know!
As always, a quick favour? Could you forward this newsletter to just 3 people that you think would like one of the articles? It helps A LOT! If you're the friend reading this, click the link below to join! Glad to have you here!
Weekly Summary
It finally happened!
We moved the last thing from the old apartment to the new. It was a bit of a bittersweet moment since the other place has been home for nearly 7 years and after all that I might not be in it anymore. Already it feels foreign given the staging and the lack of my own stuff. Soon, it might not be mine at all...
At the same time, it's been exhausting but satisfying to look through my possesions, some of which I haven't laid eyes on in years! My old flight suit from retrieval medicine days, the backpack I bought for Antarctica, my old drones box etc are all filled with memories and it's been quite a trip down memory lane... More on that over on the blog...
Creative update
Episode 3 of Season 3 is out now! We get all serious and talk about our experiences of burnout and what were doing about it. We might be a bit late to the party, but in typical randInt style, the random deviations were worth it!

If you're somehow STILL on the internet without a VPN, I'm not sure how you've avoided one so far! VPNs allow you to basically "cloak" your internet address and make it look like you're overseas (so you can access videos/content from international libraries) while also encrypting everything and making it that much harder for someone to hack your information especially if you use public wifi networks like in hotels and cafes (and lets face it, who doesn't?!).
Nord currently has one of the fastest VPNs and also is discounted right now, so if you've not got a VN, the time is now!

Pepsi's brilliant optical illusion ads
I personally havent seen these ads here in Australia so I assume it's a US phenomenon but you do have to admire a good campaign and this was just clever!
Quote I'm pondering
“No valid plans for the future can be made by those who have no capacity for living now.”
— Alan Watts
In the modern day, it's almost become the norm to live either in the past or in the future. I know that for me, I'm always planning things far ahead and doing them in the now, but never really savouring it while I do it.
In living this way, there's always this insatiable urge to get to the next thing only for it to feel not that satisfying since you've already moved onto the one after that.
So as I type in the late hours of the night, I'm trying to not look forward to hitting "send" but marvelling at the fact that I even get to have this privilege to be in front of your eyes at all: a few decades ago, I wouldn't have been able to have a email newsletter and the ability to chat to so many of you, but here we are now...
With that, I wish you the best for the rest of the week and see you next time!
