Coach ,
A 5 Out Offensive system is becoming one of the most common offensive systems because it is difficult to guard.
UCF’s Jaycob Ammerman believes that a motion can be successful by becoming really good at concepts.
Coach Ammerman’s concept philosophy is based off the acronym S.P.A.C.E
Space
Player Movement
Attack Gaps
Cutting

Here is a breakdown of 3 of the Concepts:
#1 - Space
Coach Ammerman’s philosophy is that you cannot space enough. Spacing is the foundation to a successful offense.
He explains that by being spaced you create so many different opportunities for the offense.
One of the best things spacing creates is massive driving lanes. It stretches the defense making it hard to guard.

#2 Attack Gaps
The second philosophy in Coach Ammerman’s conceptual philosophy is attacking the gaps. The great spacing will create huge gaps.
The players have to be able to attack the gaps and fight through contact.
Coach Ammerman shows when and why to attack the gaps and what it creates within an offense.

#3 Cutting
Coach Ammerman explains that cutting is a great way to create easy offense within a motion.
He shows that cutting is about reading the defense but it is also about understanding the concept of different types of cuts.
The 45 cut is a new style of cut that was made famous overseas. Coach Ammerman shows when and why to make a 45 cut.
