During the recent Pro Coaches Basketball Summit, the term “peel switch” was mentioned several times during presentations by coaches from the NBA. 

 Many coaches may not be familiar with this concept and we are excited to share how it may help give your team an edge this season.

Meet Will Voigt.  

Will has coached at every level, including the NBA and international level. He coached the Nigerian National Team at the 2016 Rio Olympics, and the Angolan National Team at the 2019 World Cup in China.

He developed the peel switch concepts based on his work with the Angola National team and the personnel he had.  It has spread now to teams across the world looking for an extra edge to stop modern offenses from attacking mismatches off the dribble.
