Coach ,

If you have been in the coaching business long enough, you have your favorite drills that you use each season, no matter the team you are coaching.  Maybe you got them from a coach you played for in the past or from a clinic at some point.

I know personally I have always done 3-2/2-1 for teaching attacking disadvantages in transition, a progressive fast break drill (starts 2-1 and eventually ends up 5-5) as well as shell drill in some form (usually starting 3-3, then going to 4-4 and ending with 5-5).

What are yours?

At the same time, I am always looking for new drills to add to my library.

Check out this free course from our spring clinics Favorite Drills featuring Kevin Sutton, Chris Dial, and Steve Hardin.
