In the Fall vocal semester, you'll get private vocal coaching sessions, and monthly group workshops with our studio vocalists ages 12-18.

You will strengthen your voice, expand your performance skills, and increase your confidence for our winter showcase and all of your future performances. 

The Fall Semester runs from September 9th- December 19th.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN THE FALL 2024 VOCAL SEMESTER PROGRAM

Your HYBRID vocal semester includes private online vocal sessions with me, in-person monthly group workshops, and a winter showcase.

PRIVATE ONLINE VOCAL COACHING

You’ll get personalized support for your vocal development,

auditions, and performance goals in your 50-minute private online sessions.

GROUP VOCAL WORKSHOPS

You’ll learn harmonies and new performance skills in our group workshops that meet typically in the 4th week of each month.

WINTER PERFORMANCE SHOWCASE

You’ll perform solos, duets, and group songs in our Winter show for your friends and family.

MID-SEMESTER FAMILY CHECK-INS

Families have a mid-semester personal check-in with me to hear about your vocal progress and new skills!

FALL VOCAL SEMESTER 2024 TIMELINE

🎵 SEPTEMBER

THE SEMESTER STARTS ON 9/9. YOU’LL SET YOUR GOALS AND ESTABLISH A CONSISTENT SINGING PRACTICE ROUTINE IN YOUR PRIVATES. PERFORM A SWEATER WEATHER SONG FOR OUR FIRST GROUP WORKSHOP!

🎵 OCTOBER

BUILD ON YOUR SOLO VOCAL SKILLS IN PRIVATES AND PREPARE A SOLO “HAUNTED” SONG TO PERFORM AT OUR WORKSHOP. LEARN GROUP SONG HARMONIES AND CHOOSE DUETS.

🎵 NOVEMBER

CONTINUE TO STRENGTHEN YOUR VOICE & MUSICALITY IN PRIVATE LESSONS, AND CHOOSE AN AUDITION CUT FOR OUR MUSICAL THEATER AUDITION WORKSHOP. FAMILY CHECK-INS IN LATE NOVEMBER.

🎵 DECEMBER

PREPARE YOUR SOLO AND GROUP SONGS, REHEARSE WITH OUR PIANIST AT OUR DRESS REHEARSAL, AND PERFORM IN OUR WINTER VOCAL SHOWCASE, DATE TBA. THE FALL SEMESTER ENDS ON 12/19/24.

  MY STUDENTS HAVE GOT TALENT!

Vocalists who train with me go on to perform in choirs, talent shows, musical theater, music bands, and high-stake auditions at Berkeley Playhouse, YMTC, Berkeley Repertory Theater, Oakland School for The Arts, A.C.T., American Idol and gain admittance into competitive performing arts college programs at UCLA, USC, NYU, Princeton, Emmerson, Princeton, and Berklee School of Music.
