⚡ New CPD content & topics
Sep 13, 2023 2:05 pm
Hey 👋
You might recognise my name from the weekly CPD webinars we ran at SpecifiedBy, where I was the founder & CEO up until a few months ago.
Appreciate you're busy, so just a really quick email to invite you to join my new daily CPD newsletter for inquisitive (but busy) Architects & specifiers - creatively titled: CPD DAILY
It's a very simple concept - one easy-to-access, live, online CPD session delivered directly to your inbox every weekday.
Each CPD session is carefully selected and will (where possible) always be running within 24-48 hours of the email.
The aim is to help you:
⚡ Discover interesting new CPD content & topics
🧠 Expand your areas of knowledge and expertise
🔍 Put your CPD search on autopilot
✅ Keep on top of your learning requirements
👀 Learn about new products & brands
I've included an example of a recent email below to give you an idea of what to expect.
Two options to join:
You can sign up on the website (you'll find the archive of CPD sessions there too).
Or... simply reply to this email with a "yes" or a 👍 and I'll add you manually.
Over 1,600 other Architects & specifiers have already subscribed - hope to see you on the list too :)

This CPD had me at "metallised fabrics" - which I imagine to be what our future AI / robot overlords' outfits will be made from 🦾 🤖
On top of that, the team at Waverley promise a "practical demonstration".

Improving Sustainability through Performance Solar Shading
with Waverley
An engaging and ‘hands-on’ seminar helping architects and specifiers understand that well-informed choices regarding solar shading can have a massive impact on keeping a building’s carbon footprint to a minimum.
Covering how specifiers can harness the potential of metallised fabrics to improve building efficiency, the CPD teaches the science behind solar heat gain, why heat build-up and solar glare occur, and explains how metallised blinds can help with environmental accreditation.
A practical demonstration is included, showing the difference in performance between a standard screen fabric and a metallised screen fabric.
