Journey to Esquire: Our Year in Review and Annual Report 

This year, Journey to Esquire didn’t just talk about finding joy in the journey—we built it, filmed it, wore it, taught it, and shared it.

Here’s what we accomplished together:

• Our signature Journey to Esquire program continued mentoring future lawyers through the real work of law school, bar prep, early careers, and the things no one puts in the syllabus.
• Our documentary project captured the lived experiences behind the law license—the grit, the grace, and the humanity that make this profession worth fighting for.
• The Journey to Esquire Closet received over 800 pieces of professional clothing, removing financial barriers and replacing them with confidence and dignity.
• Our Pre-Law Pilot Program created early access, clarity, and community for students just beginning to imagine themselves in the law.
• Finding Joy in the Journey to Esquire, our video series, centered wellness, truth, and encouragement in a profession that too often glorifies burnout.
• CLEs and professional trainings supported lawyers at every stage, reinforcing that growth does not stop once you pass the bar.
• New publications and creative projects amplified our stories and voices, proving that representation is not optional—it is transformative.
• Wellness initiatives reminded us all that rest is not a luxury; it is a leadership skill.
• Award Season: Awarded the American Bar Association Alexander Award as a Rising Star in pipeline programs.

This year showed us what’s possible when we invest in people before they break and when we choose joy as a strategy, not an afterthought.
