Developing habits can significantly ease your life as a busy woman professional in several ways.
I shall be sharing the different ways, one day at a time.
Here's for today.
Removal of Repeated Decisions.
Habits remove the need to make repeated decisions about routine tasks. When you establish habits, such as a morning routine or an evening wind-down routine, you remove the mental effort of deciding what to do next. This saves valuable time and mental energy that can be used for more important decisions.
For the past four years, I've developed the habit of a morning walk where I walk for thirty to one hour five times a week. Of course, it wasn't easy when I started but the repetition got me used to it, and eventually developed the habit. On the days when the weather or sickness wouldn't allow me, I use the stationary bike in the house and take a break when ill.
I no longer need to decide whether to go for my walk each morning again because it has become a habit.
