Establish a winding-down routine that includes activities like reading, journaling, or relaxation techniques to promote quality sleep and rejuvenation.
I mostly use reading as a wind-down routine to sleep or relax. Reading is one of my passions that I developed at a very young age and it’s just a second nature now.
Do you have a nighttime routine that prepares you for sleep?
In a class that I took last year, I learned how being in a cool and dark room easily stimulates sleep. I’ve tried it and it worked. Sometimes when I was ready for bed and the light was on and hubby wasn't ready to go to sleep, I used my sleep mask. I slept off almost immediately it was on my face.
Your task for today.
List the things you need to do before bed so that you can sleep soundly and have a great rest. And start applying the list right away! Tweak where necessary if you know the routine can be better. Have fun as you get ready for bed.
