Prepare for adventure!

I started Malice in Wonderland based on a challenge.

I was told to pick two stories that were in the public domain and smush them together. Picking Alice in Wonderland as the first part came as a bit of a surprise. I always thought when I chose to write a fairytale retelling that I'd go with Beauty and the Beast. It took a little longer to come up with the second story, but once I found Frankenstein, I knew exactly how these two stories would join each other.

And now Malice has officially released out into the world, and I could not be happier! You can find it in paperback, ebook, and on Kindle Unlimited.

Last month's winner has been chosen and notified, and I'm looking forward to even more giveaways as we sprint toward the end of the year.

I have a special share for you this month. Christina Van Starkenburg has a free book available on BookFunnel.

Here's the blurb. Link will be below.

As a gold fairy, Aurianna's life has always been fairly comfortable. No spiderwebs and dew drops for her. She gets to sleep in doll houses and collect coins that clink carelessly across the floor. But when someone kidnaps her host's child, Lady Agna makes a wish. And if there is one thing a fairy can't refuse, it's a wish made in tears. Dusting off her wings, she slips from the house to find the missing baby.

Christina Van Starkenburg is an award-winning author and illustrator, who balances her time between writing and raising dragons. It is a challenging endeavor to keep the fire-breathing beasts and paper separated, and more than one story has been singed in the process, but she keeps at it because she loves sharing the magic of these worlds with you. You can find her, her partner, and their young brood exploring the Saskatchewan prairies as they embark on the next leg of their own adventures.

If you are interested in purchasing the sprayed edges editions, you can buy directly from my shop. Books will be signed and can be personalized.
