A limiting belief I had to confront was that my creativity was limited. This belief caused me to doubt my ability to start and sustain online motivational videos on my social media channels.
I feared I wouldn’t be able to create more than ten videos, so for several years, I did not start. I grew tired of that limiting belief dominating my life, so I confronted it by grabbing my phone and shooting videos. To my surprise, I quickly reached 100 videos.
Now, I’ve almost recorded 4,000 videos, and the only reason this happened is that I chose to confront my limiting belief.
Whatever limiting belief you have that tells you that you cannot do something, you must confront it.
What you will discover is that your limiting belief is lying to you. You will find out that you have what it takes to realize your dream, but that is only possible when you confront your limiting belief.

1) Challenge your limiting beliefs by creating a specific plan of action that will enable you to confront them at a designated time and day, rather than vaguely stating that you will do so. When you’re not specific, you open the door to procrastination, allowing your limiting beliefs to remain in the driver’s seat of your life.
2) Replace limiting beliefs with beliefs that inspire action. Just changing a limiting belief to a positive one isn’t enough unless it leads to action. Without beliefs backed by action, you won’t gain confidence in them. So, make sure the new beliefs you create are focused on taking action.
3) Taking action based on your new beliefs is key to your transformation. You can’t overcome a limiting belief by just wishing; you need to act on your new belief to move past the old ones. This method helped me go beyond my belief that I could only create ten online videos, and I ended up making almost 4,000.
