In the Life of an Author

Settling into my new home and new day job alright. It really feels surreal to be living somewhere I normally vacationed in and to be commuting again. But it does help with work-life balance let me tell you! Easier to separate working on my books and paying the bills with the separation of location.

The goal is one day to have an office to work on writing these amazing stories for you full-time, so that won't be a problem. I used to work on my books, day job, and have my downtime all in the same room. Not healthy, part of the reason for the life change. Here's what my new workspace looks like:

Then of course getting ready for Halloween and the holidays! Out here in the middle of nowhere, there isn't a lot to do for Halloween, so my current plan is to dress up and do a live stream of Five Nights at Freddie's. I've loved watching others play, but until the newest game, never thought myself a good enough player to win even the basic modes. But Security Breach has given me the courage to try. I'll e-mail you all a link if you're interested.
