In the Flow

COVID sucks a bag of dicks.

Just sayin.

On the other hand, remember wishing you were there when the space race started? The start of the internet? That you had bought shopping.com? That you had bought real estate in 2010? That's where we are now, at the start of a brand new world.

I struggle to contain myself and everyone around me thinks I'm crazy.

On the podcast

Chantal Lavergne has too many great opportunities to chase with her brand Fun Sensory Play

Chantal has created a community based on her own needs, and as a result she now must decide which great opportunity to pursue. She has made the mistake of building something she doesn't like in the past, and wants to be careful not to make the same mistake again.

On the bookshelf

Sometimes an author I've loved in the past phones one in and I end up wasting hours on a shitty book I should never have finished. Just walk away from that book is easy advice to give but I still often feel guilty for not finishing a book. On the other hand, sometimes you just know that you and an author are not meant for each other.

Queen of Storms by Raymond E. Feist - If Raymond's in debtor prison and trying to write his way out, I forgive him for writing this book. Otherwise, do not waste your time on this lazy testament to taking your readers for granted.

The Infinite Game by Simon Sinek - I love the central thesis of this book, that to run a business in order to make it through the next quarter is death while to dare to serve multi-generational significance is the definition of what inserts purpose into what we do. It plays on the heart strings of my very Red, Yiddish soul. On the other hand, the way Sinek chooses to express these ideas make me think of Thomas Friedman. Friedman is a slice of processed Munster.

In the Toolbox

Originality is over rated. Especially when you're trying to learn how to do something. If you see a sales page you love, why not copy the hell out of it until you figure out how talk in a way that reflects your personality? This Click Funnels competitor, Groove Funnels, allows you to copy a sales page. Sure, they strip out all of the verbiage and the pictures, but now you have the template for a sales page you can build to suit your business. And it's free.

All the best!

Bram & Greg
