What are you about?

I mean, what are you really about?

When no one is watching.

Not even your self censoring self.

That is who everyone wants you to be.

Including yourself.

Never mind everybody screaming at you to get back in your lane.

That has nothing to do with you and everything with them.

You being you reminds them that they are not being they.

Think about it this way, the last time you were at a corporate thing, who did you admire?

The person that confirmed perfectly, sprouting never ending corporate speak or the freak who dared allow his personality to supplant convention.

Who had more fun?

You can be both utterly competent and a complete weirdo at the same time.

There is no contradiction.

We're all weirdos.

It's the people that aren't who are truly weird.

(and their cool too).
