On the bookshelf

I spend too much time in front of the computer, passively scrolling through Facebook, watching Youtube, you know the drill. Books are a great antidote. I try to always read physical copies. Here are two I’m working on right now:

We Sold Our Souls by Grady Hendrix - A weird horror story about a failed 1990s Heavy Metal band. My local library started doing pop ups because we can't go in the building yet where I ran into another of his books. I've been binging his catalogue since.

Traffic Secrets by Russel Brunson - Yes, I know. Everybody's using books as funnels into their businesses but here's a blueprint about how to do that by writing something that actually delivers rather than being little more than a glorified pamphlet.

In the Toolbox

Speaking of seeing masters at their craft, if you're trying to wrap your head around how to engage with an audience in a Facebook group, Travis Sago recently opened up a new group, Million Dollar Audience Mojo . You can join for free. It's very meta where he teaches how to engage your audience by using what he teaches to engage with you.

If you're thinking about branding and logos, check out this document on the evolution of the Pepsi logo and how they did their brand refresh.

All the best!
