In the Flow

With the kids' Art\Pokemon\Coding\Ninja camps behind us, we spent the week in an at home cooking camp. They picked a dish each day to make soup to nuts. All I can say is next week is going to be intermittent fasting camp.

We need some help getting this newsletter in front of more people. If you know someone who would enjoy reading it please forward this email and encourage them to sign up. Thanks!

On the podcast

Justin Aguirre is getting ready to launch a youth soccer brand, and it just seems too easy - Justin is a youth soccer coach with an audience ready to buy whatever he creates. He doesn't realize how far ahead he is, and so the whole plan just seems too easy. We point out the next steps Justin can take to get his brand off the ground quickly.

On the bookshelf

Dove into some nostalgia this week by dipping back into Orson Scott Card's Ender Series. I lost my entire Tuesday to that book.

The Swarm by Orson Scott Card - A great bit of escapist fun with plenty of politics and space marine action to keep you satisfied.

Writing without Bullshit by Josh Bernoff - Was recommended this by the powerful Sean McCool. We can all use some help with making our writing crisper and more to the point. This book provides tools to get rid of some of your worst offenses.

In the Toolbox

Continuing with the focus on emails, check really good emails out, which features some of the best newsletters out there. Instead of inventing something from whole cloth, copy something you really like. Trust me, it will turn into you within a couple of iterations.

All the best!
