In the Flow

When someone tells you something is wrong, they’re almost always right. When someone tells you how to fix it, they’re almost always wrong.

We Get the Smackdown from Arel Avellino

We have a ton of respect for Arel Avellino, a 7-figure e-Commerce entrepreneur we spoke to in Episode 7. This time, Arel hot seats us, points out where we need to take our own advice, and gives solid tips on what we should do next.

Dawn Pensack - Episode 7 | The Hot Seat

Dawn talks to us about building her community.

We've finished uploading our Hot Seat episodes to Youtube to make them available for people outside the 1%. Please enjoy!

On the bookshelf

Here are three things I believe. Read books rather than listen to them so that you're not multi-tasking. Read physical books rather than ereaders, there's magic in being able to see and feel your progress through a book. Read fiction, especially when you read a lot of business books, you need lots of imagination to build something new.

That We May Live: Speculative Chinese Fiction - A collection of strange, short stories. There seems to be a lot of really good Chinese science fiction becoming popular of late. Doubly weird when you're used to seeing the world through Western eyes.

In the Toolbox

I ran into this in one of my favorite newsletters (I collect them like others collect URLs- :-)). Rather than looking for other sources of active ingredients, this may also be a good way of finding your competitors, future collaborators, places where your tribe hangs out.

Hope it's useful.

From Recomendo:

Skinskool is a “dupe finder” that compares the active ingredients in your favorite skincare products and matches them to other products on the market. This is such a useful tool if your favorite serum or cream has been discontinued or you just want to find a less expensive alternative.

Hoping to always stimulate your bottom line,

Bram (& Greg)
