For those who are not familiar with ARCs, these are special pre-publication versions of a book that are shared with select readers before the official release. These copies are typically uncorrected proofs, meaning they may contain some minor errors or changes that will be fixed in the final version. The primary purpose of ARCs is to generate early buzz and gather reviews to give the book the best possible launch.

If you're interested in being an ARC reader, you can sign up via:

• Story Origin - you'll have the option to read a sample first
• Booksprout - you'll need to sign up for an account
• Bookfunnel - by replying to this email with a link to a previous review you've written. It doesn't have to rave about the book but should be helpful to readers. If accepted, you'll receive an email from Bookfunnel.

Reviews are preferred on Amazon and Goodreads. If you have a social media following, that is a bonus.

You'll have three months to read and provide a review, and all these platforms will remind you to post on release day.

The Duty of Magic is also now on Goodreads, so please consider leaving a review there to let other readers know why they should read the novelette.
