From Australia, With Love

G'day,
I've been celebrating my birthday for the past three days, but today was my actual birthday (anyone else claim a "birthday week"... or month?). So, as I officially turn 36, I'm releasing Valerie Rose into the world, hoping you will love her and Owen and Nettie and all the Godmothers of North Oak church as much as I do. Oh, and the special e-book pre-order price will be staying all week as a little birthday gift from me to you :)
What's blooming?
I received these Lego flowers from my son for my birthday and they are hands-down my favourite blooms now! And the best part? I can keep them forever :)
Upcoming release I'm stoked about:
Each of Hunt's heroes have made my heart melt like chocolate fondue, but somehow Brax Routledge has outdone them all. And I imagine he'd be rather smug about that.
Brax is the unapologetically swoon-worthy hero with a hymn to quote for every occasion. Together, he and Hazel, with their contrasting dreams and timbres, somehow still blend into a resonant harmonic chord. Redemptive themes infuse their opposites attract, marriage of convenience love story. But, of course, it's Brax, which means there is bound to be some turbulence.
This series is exquisite. I would highly recommend reading books 1 and 2 first to experience the beautiful restoration of Wisteria House and its characters.
Before I go...
Earlier this year, I was accepted to become a candidate researcher as part of a new Doctor of Professional Practice program as part of the University of Divinity here in Australia. It has been a huge learning curve for me, especially being the youngest member in the cohort and, really, being a stay-at-home-mum rather than someone working actively in a professional field. I felt incredibly intimidated at first. But, as I'm finding my footing, I sense the Lord helping me hone in on a ministry focus I'm so passionate about. I hope to share more about that in my next letter. For now, I can say I am on a quest for more child-like wonder... :)
Until then, I'm sending you so much love and prayers.
From Australia,
with love,
Liz x
Nothing is more appealing than speaking beautiful, life-giving words. For they release sweetness to our souls and inner healing to our spirits.
