From Australia, With Love

G'day,

Lately, I have been rethinking a few things in regards to my writing. See, I wanted to keep it in a tidy bow. I wanted to be the writer who was "on brand", a brand which became: writer of faith-filled Australian love stories with a Regency twist. And while I will still be writing these kind of stories, I love so many genres that I can't keep myself in that neat brand box anymore.

For instance, one of my favorite books I've written is Azure Blaze and I originally published it under a pseudonym. It seems strange when I look at it sometimes. Even though it uses my middle name, it still doesn't feel like me. Perhaps, this too is because I now think of myself as Liz rather than Elizabeth.

Well, surprise! I have republished Azure Blaze under my name, and it is on sale for Black Friday! You can find Crystina's origins story and a collection of other Christian/Clean young adult and middle grade books on sale HERE.

Moving forward, I have a collection of titles for pre-order set to release in the coming months. These are some of my earlier stories, reworked and released. They will all be available on KU and during pre-order will be .99c (USD). Some of these titles include The Watson Women, Oceans Within, and Miss Adelaide. Each of these stories are special to me in different ways, so I'm excited to share more about them in the coming months.

So, where does that put me brand wise? Not in a neat box, that's for sure. But hopefully in one that is more authentic to who I am in this season of my writing journey.

For now, I'm a writer of some things old, some things new—all things faith—and something blue...

And on that note, here is some thing new and old all at once—the cover reveal for my historical romance releasing in May 2025.

A story of first loves, second chances, and the freedom found in Christ alone.

Beth Watson has been in love with Toby Woodhouse for as long as she can remember. After he leaves her father’s employ, she continues to dream of him coming back to claim her as his bride. But nothing can prepare her for the worldly man she encounters upon his eventual return.

Toby returns to Van Diemen's Land to find little Miss Beth all grown up. But how could this innocent, beautiful young woman ever accept him after the mistakes he made while making his fortune?

Can freedom be found on the other side of forgiveness? Or will the past hold them captive forever?

What's blooming?

Okay, so it hasn't quite bloomed yet but our Peace Lily is so close to having two beautiful white flowers. This plant was gifted to us when we moved into our home last year and it had one flower at the time and then hasn't bloomed since. But I have FINALLY found a spot where it's happy - and I've finally learned not to over water a plant that doesn't like wet feet lol.

New release I'm stoked about:

I devoured this story within 24 hours. It kept me up late and then woke me up early the following morning. I didn't let this story go until its oh so wonderful end, which left me all giddy! ✨🥰 With characters from both the Sorrow and Song series and the Wisteria House series, I felt right at home in this beautiful festive historical romance.

A veteran of both the Second World War and the Korean War, combat medic A.J. Harrison returns home in the fall of 1952, permanently injured and uncertain of his future. As the long-anticipated holiday at home approaches, his family’s joy is quenched when A.J.’s service record is called into question. How can he defend himself when feelings of failure already assault him from every side?

Hope Carver appears to have a fairytale life, surrounded by a large, loving family. But she lives in frustration over her secret affliction and in fear of others discovering it. What would the young man she’s been in love with for years think if he knew the truth about the girl he regards as his kid sister?

When Hope holds the key to proving A.J.’s character, will she be able to face her fears to defend him? And will that truth set him free to love?

Before I go...

I hope you enjoy my bite-sized Christmas rom-com, A Miracle for Holly Grey. You can download Holly and Ben's story HERE.

to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
