[New Post] If You Have Big Goals, How Serious Are You About Them?

Hello there,


It's Coach Aniekan here from Living an Effective Lifestyle Inc., and the host of Nuggets for a Successful Life with Coach Aniekan. And as 2020 comes to an end, I want to help set you up for success in this week's newsletter - if you are committed to achieving it/them.

Because when it comes to big goals, it's easy for you to lose your enthusiasm somewhere along the way - and I've been there and know how challenging it can be.


So, whether you are just starting out or whether you've just lost your way a little, we will look at five quick tests to explore how serious you REALLY are about your goals!


The 5 Quick Tests!


Test 1: The Goal-Commitment Test.


As a life-changing Coach, I view commitment as your willingness to give your time and energy to the goals you've set for yourself - and do all that it takes to accomplish them no matter what.


Start by writing on your top three (3) big goals:

1. ________________________________________________________

2. ________________________________________________________

3. ________________________________________________________


How will you score your level of commitment to accomplishing your goal?


On a scale of 0 to 10

(where 0 is 'absolutely not' and 10 is 'totally committed')?

Hit the reply button if you scored less than 8?


Test 2: The Presence Test.


If It was possible to have your goal right now, will you TAKE IT?

Yes or No? And why?

Test 3: The Outlook Test.


"Imagine how your life might be different 5-10 years after you've achieved your goal. Say we are in the year 2030 for a moment, and you've reached your goal. Now, I want you to look back at today - What Will You Tell Yourself Today, Wednesday 25th, 2020?


1. What will be the consequences of achieving your goal?

2. How will accomplishing the goal/s go along and fit into the plan you have for your life or business?

Test 4: The Fight or Flight Test.


"If a decree was passed by the authorities that said: you are NOT ALLOWED to have (your goal), would you fight for it - or be glad to let go with a sigh of relieve?"

Test 5: The Test of Persona.


Will you have issues with the person you'll need to become to achieve your goal?


1. "Who do you need to be to achieve this goal?"

2. "Do you like this person?"

3. "Are there things you do not like about this person?"

______________________________________________________________

These questions are also a great stepping off point to explore the attitudes and supportive habits you may need to develop to achieve your goal.
