Will You Be Joining Me In New Orleans?
Aug 19, 2025 2:06 pm
Bouchercon 2025 is just around the corner, but it's not too late to join me and let the good times roll!
Bouchercon is always a great time, but New Orleans and Heather Graham really know how to party! On Thursday, meet in the lobby before 6:30 to parade to the WWII Museum for a special night open only to attendees and get your copy of the Bouchercon anthology signed. On Friday, there's the Bouchercon mystery dinner theater. On Saturday, meet new authors at the Discovery Zone and attend a live auction later.
The guests of honor always have fascinating interviews, during which the audience can ask questions at the end. This year includes Michael Connelly, Brad Thor, Lisa Jewell, Alex Segura, Craig Johnson, Charles Todd, Jonathan Maberry, Steph Cha, and Ali Karim.
There's still time to register: https://www.bouchercon2025.com/registration
You'll be able to catch up with me on:
- Thursday morning (7:30 - 9:30) for Speed Dating. You sit while authors rotate between tables and share about their latest books! Be prepared for some awesome swag!
- Thursday night at the WWII museum, where I'll be signing copies of the anthology with my story "Reading Between the Lies."
- Friday, 10:30 - 11:30, I will moderate a panel "Elementary! The Sherlock Effect." All the panelists are awesome, but one stands out: Nicholas Meyer, author of "The Seven-Percent Solution," which became a movie with the same title.
- Friday after the panel, there will be a book signing. Come get new copies of my books, or bring old ones, if you'd like them signed as well!
To kick off events, one of the Sherlock panelists (and a good friend) Kathleen Kaska, will be signing copies of her latest book "Murder at the Pontchartrain" at (where else?) the Pontchartrain Hotel on Tuesday, 5:00-7:00 (2031 St Charles Ave, New Orleans, LA 70130).

If you see me around, please say howdy!
(Remember, I'm from Texas)
