Hellooo my lovelies, 

My baby had her fifth birthday the other day, and I am not okay. It got me thinking about all the different seasons of our life and how everything has to move on. 

You want your kids to grow up, flourish, and become amazing people, yet at the same time you want to hold on to that little body just a smidge longer, cuddle it for just two more minutes (and then two more). 

That’s how it goes with my writing too. 

You finish a manuscript and you’d think that would be it. It’s all grown up and out of the nest. But it isn’t. There are so many rounds of edits, and tweaks, and even after its been released you always want to go back and just give it a teensy bit more. 

Obviously I’m not saying I love my books as much as I love my babies, but what I am saying is I love them like they’re my babies. And I hope you do too. If you do? Here’s your friendly reminder that all authors LIVE on reviews, so don’t forget to leave your two cents and tell us what you think.
