Welcome to Trading Card Tuesdays! Here are some of the coolest things I've seen this week:

25th Anniversary Golden Box Revealed

Pictures of the Japanese 25th Anniversary Golden Box was released during the 2021 Japan Championships. The card that caught my eye is the golden Pikachu shown in the picture above.

The Golden Box will be released on October 22nd in Japan. If you don't have access to Japanese products, the same card will be included in the English Celebrations Ultra-Premium Collection. This set will also be released on October 22nd.

PSA Complete Through Dates Update

PSA has Complete Through Dates (CTD) on their website. These dates let the customers know how far along PSA is with their grading.

As of today, 7/20, PSA is almost done with TCG submissions through September 2020. This puts their backlog at about 10 months. I expect it to be even worse when they hit February and March due to the influx of submissions from their price increase announcement.

I appreciate the transparency by PSA. But having to wait at least another six months to get my cards back is not a great feeling.
