LEARN THEN APPLY
Hi there!
It's an unwritten rule that you can't be a marketing thought leader on Twitter unless you have an avi that's a drawing of you.
Don't want to brag but... @LearnThenApply
Process
I don't really get nightmares, but there is something that always makes me wake up in a panic: Dreams about overdue assignments and tests I didn't study for.
I think about how glad I am that I don't have to worry about those things anymore..
But that's going to change.
My Intro to Social Media class in college showed me the power of consistent creation. That's why I've decided to create a syllabus for myself.
I detailed my syllabus in this week's post: Creating a Personal Syllabus
Learn
This article by Nathan Barry is about creating audiences and capturing value. He gives examples like Beats by Dre, Glossier, and Smart Passive Income. There are better ways to monetize than others. But first you have to build trust and credibility with your audience!
Apply
- I transferred the first installment over to began the restoration. While I'm waiting for the restoration to complete, I want to find out how to purchase this car under my LLC so I can use the car as a rental, or write off business expenses if I were to sell it.
- I joined Gumroad's 14-Day product challenge. After doing the first day's exercise of trying to come up with an ebook idea, I decided I am going to create one of the Guides to Orthodox Weddings that I had been meaning to work on. I should have the finished product to show you in 2 weeks!
The End
If I don't send a newsletter by next Wednesday (11/04), venmo request me for $10 @monitormonkey.
Have a great week!
