You want to know what's sad? That the highlight of my week was rearranging my desk. Violet is quite handsy, so I needed to move all my power cords out of her reach. Funny enough, the new set up made me feel oddly inspired, so I did get quite a bit of words written. That might have also been the two hour nap she took on my lap during that time.

Still, HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY. Don't forget your green ;)

Employee of the Month:

Violet really took to the mirror I moved to my office door. She's gonna have quads of steel with the number of squats she does playing peek-a-boo with herself.

Disaster of the month: Parky stole a snack from Violet when she hung her hands on either side of her high chair.

Question for you: If you could turn one of your favorite books into a movie/tv show, what would it be? For the sake of the fun of it, let's assume they do it exactly to the book and do it well.

My answer: I have too many I'd love to see. I think for a TV series, I would love to see The War of Lost Hearts series by Carissa Broadbent. It's probably still my favorite series of all time. For a movie, I think Sorcery of Thorns by Margaret Rogerson would be excellent! That's probably my favorite standalone of all time.
