Missed you last week - I felt lost not writing something on Friday. I hope you had a wonderful holiday, good food, and lots of happiness. What did you celebrate? Have any socially-distanced parties? Zoom family meetings? Creative get-togethers?

My holiday was full of moving, moving, and more moving. I spent Monday-Wednesday moving most of our smaller items myself (my husband was working, don't worry). I've moved plenty of times in the last six years (count: 12 moves), and I consider myself a professional, but this one was the most exhausting because I had double the stuff.

While not everything is in its place, I have a home and I'm beyond thankful. Even more exciting is my own office. That might not mean much to anyone, but I've never had my own space like this to work. I cried when I saw it set up the first time. Really. So many books are going to be written in this space.

The new year is here and 2021 is gonna be my b*tch. I'm cutting back on things that don't serve my word of the year (growth), adding different goals that serve me better, and incorporating a ton of stuff that caters to YOU.

Coming This Year:

Patreon is still going to be my biggest focus. I have playlists, WIPs, free books, and a lot of inside looks that you can get access to earlier than everyone else.

My concrete plans include:

• Release of the final four books in the Warrior Series. I'm a bit delayed with how I wanted to release them after my best friend passed away somewhat unexpectedly in November. It set me back a while. Book 7 is still in the writing stage, all of them are planned and outlined, and I will get back on that starting next week. I'm incredibly thankful to you for your patience and sticking with me through it. I'm excited to share the conclusion with you. Enjoy this cover reveal of book 7 in the series!

• The next book in the Soul Series. I've rebranded the series to be the "Blue Star Series". Books 1-3 (Soul Forgotten, Remembered, and Obscured) will be lovingly named the Soul Trilogy (I even have brand new covers for you guys to see). What does that mean for the future? Another trilogy! I'll refresh the titles for books four thru six and have an announcement for you soon.
• Short stories. I loved writing my short romance stories. I'm thinking of putting together a collection of them. They are a good break from my fantasy series and a great way to mix up the stories.

Ideas in development:

• A new sci-fi series. I had two different versions of a story written from drastically different perspectives. I am torn between which one I like more. Either way, I'm going to be testing out those stories with my patrons, street team, a beta reader group, and eventually sharing with you. If you want to get in on that material, consider joining that street team (info below).
• NaNoWriMo. Depending on where I'm at in the writing process, I'd like to stick to my Blue Star series being written during November. Ideally this will be my third book in that new trilogy.
