WIP: Star Supernova

I'm exploring some new perspectives in Supernova. While Star Collapsed focused on Kiya and Ryder, this book will feature a few chapters from Isobel and Declan's perspectives.

This little snip comes from Isobel after she finds Ryder training with his superpowers. Keep in mind, Ryder is not known for his ability to control his astronomical manipulations.

How did Ryder have perfect control over his powers?

If I was into guys, I might have been impressed. No wonder Kiya had a thing for him.

It wasn’t until he turned slightly that I caught the look on his face. Not just concentration, but anger. Frustration. Rage. I hadn’t seen him this worked up since… well, since he and Kiya were threatening to murder each other.

With his next throw, he let out a furious curse, the following fireball exploding larger against the wall than any of the previous meteors. His fists curled as he shouted into the empty space, his chest heaving as he sucked in air. Those fists lifted to his head, pounding against his skull in frustration.
