I am so thrilled that I can finally announce that secret project I was working on earlier this year.

The Blade of Severed Bonds is going to be part of the Indie Fantasy Addicts anthology coming out on NOVEMBER 14. Whoa!!!

Does that title look a little familiar? Well, if you're reading the Smoke and Shadows series, you'll be excited to know that this short story (10K words) is set in our favorite fantasy world! This story happens well before the wall is built in the recent series, but it does have some impact. It's not required reading to understand the current series, but there will be some character appearances in the later books that you might like to see.

The Wings of Shattered Fire (Nov 30):

We have a preorder page! Once again, this is ebook preorders. I am working on paperbacks, and **supposedly** Amazon is allowing paperback preorders now. I do not know if this is going to be something I use or not, not because I don't want you to have that option, but because I'm not sure if this beta rollout feature is glitchy or not. I will get back to you on that news when it becomes relevant and I trust that you'll be getting the same quality books printed.

ARC signups for The Wings of Shattered Fire are still available here! Because this is book 2 in the series, it will be a requirement that readers have finished and reviewed book 1 in order to get book 2. So, I'm putting this link and awareness out early so you have time to go read and review The Curse of Broken Shadows in time for these ARCS.

As the year comes to a close, I've got some awesome books headed your way. But... what's next?

I am diving into book 3 of the series. No planned date yet because I have a new baby and I've gone from writing full time to being a mom. If you were around before baby, thank you for your patience as I figure out my new schedule. I love telling these stories and I'm determined to give you the same quality and stabbies that you've gotten before, it just takes a little more time.

The Blade of Severed Bonds will become its own book in FEBRUARY/MARCH 2024.

It will be similar to The Bones of Crystal Sand with a few other little stories included (spicy scenes, cut scenes from TWOSF, and more), PLUS TBOSB will be an extended version. Think of it like a director's cut of a movie. It's the same story, but I'll be able to add the cut scenes of the anthology submission. That's at least 15K more words!
