It's beginning to feel a lot like FALL. Finally! I'm a huge fan of cooler weather, sweaters, and many many mugs of tea/cider/hot chocolate. It's also that single week of the year where I can open the windows to the house and not be blasted by humidity and heat or absolute frigid air, and I am taking advantage of it!
Speaking of awesome fall things, how about a Fall Book Fair? I'm participating in this amazing promo with a bunch of really awesome authors with discounted, free, and Kindle Unlimited reads! Fun fact - besides all these awesome books, there's a deal at the end where you can be entered to win a Kindle Fire, a Starbucks gift card (for all those fall treats we love), AND a one-month subscription to OwlCrate. HOW AWESOME?!?
Check out that deal here: https://clcannon.net/bookfair
Patreon is the best place to be! You'll get plenty of artwork, memes, inside looks at future books, and some really awesome updates on the future of this series. Between the prequel short stories for TCOBS and Star Supernova, you'll get plenty of insider details on the new books coming!

EXCERPT TIME! If you guys still haven't picked up The Curse of Broken Shadows, this little excerpt might change your mind! Read about Brela's encounter with the shadow wolf and her absolute insane idea to stand up to it!

Since you guys get a really long teaser in my blog this week, I figured I'd share some artwork I've done for TCOBS instead! Now, I do all of this for fun, I get poses and ideas from other art, and I am definitely not good at this... but it's still fun.
Here's a pose of Cason and Brela (I took some liberties in embellishing her earth festival dress because there's only so much skill I have) but it definitely makes me happy! Enjoy!

I'm slowly getting back into the writing after some... slow happenings. But it's coming back! Have no fear! Besides, it's always good to take a bit of a creative break and just to get the juices flowing again. Surprisingly, I'm finding more creative freedom by working from the living room rather than my office.
Our neighbors are doing a whole yard renovation and it has been driving the dog absolutely nuts so that has been a bit of a challenge, but the weather is keeping my spirits up. Plus, the hubs and I are nearing our December reception party after we delayed a real wedding during COVID years (yay, finally!) What are some of your favorite fall outdoor activities? Or, if you're like me, what are your favorite indoor things to do?
