what's different this time around?

It's launch month for a brand new series, and with that comes some really big updates about indie authoring and all the things I've had on my mind as I gear up for this release.
It's a little different this time around with FFD
Why is that? Well, because this is technically book number 2 in a series of interconnected standalones that I'm writing with my bestie A.K. Caggiano. Each book can be read on its own, but there will be character crossovers so I encourage reading it all, even if you read out of order. Plus, it's a lot of fun to understand the inside jokes happening everywhere.
So, you'll see me start talking a lot about the Falling for Demons series here in the next few newsletters. For now, check out these blurbs and get your preorders now! I'm going to brag and say that the interior of these books is my best work yet - artwork AND some pretty surprises.
I'd also like to just say thank you for being awesome by releasing the Prologue and first chapter of Charm for you to read for free now on Patreon.
Everything around the corner
I'm working really hard behind the scenes to start a new street team. With more books in my backlist, I'm really wanting to give back to you while also taking some of the load off myself. My goal is to get a small team together to help me promote my books on social media, boost some review numbers on my backlist since I didn't do a great job launching those (yay for learning how to market later in my career!), and toss in a few games and rewards for helping me spread the word. Stay tuned for that coming late July and early August.
On top of that, I've taken a small break to study a lot of things (art, marketing, the dreaded tiktok) and have come back with some renewed excitement for writing! Both the third book in the Falling for Demons series and the final book in the Faeted Hearts series are in the early drafting stage. As in... the first chapters. But these characters are speaking to me again and I'm loving their drive!
Featured Books:
Blood slave to courtier of the Winter fae . . . you’d think I’d moved up.
I’m not so sure.
The auction block awaits and a vicious vampire prince wants me and what flows through my veins.
So I make a run for it, only to end up falling at the feet of a fae warden. Technically, Roar, the Warden of the West should return me to the vampire court, but he has other ideas.
He needs a fake fiancée.
The deal: if I play his dutiful partner at the Winter Court, and help him trick the cold King of Winter, Roar will hide me from the blood-suckers intent on draining the life from me.
I agree, and for a while, it seems like nothing can go wrong.
That is, until Vale, Warden Roar’s nemesis, sets his sights on me.
A part of me likes the warrior prince’s attentions. Luckily, the more sane part knows Prince Vale is not a fae to mess with.
Besides, I can’t dissolve my contract with Warden Roar. To do so would bring down the ire of the king and ruin my chances of earning my freedom. So I do my best to keep Roar and Vale from each other’s throats, all the while convincing the Winter Court of my love for Roar.
It’s official: I’m a part of the deadly game of noble houses, and losing could cost me everything.
