chapter titles and tons and tons of words

Thank you for your answers in my form last go around! You spoke, I listened. Now available in my etsy shop: ART PRINTS. You can get some very adorable prints or digital artwork (if you prefer the e-content) there. I'm not quite at the space to have my own supply of paperbacks to sign and sell, but I'll add some bookplates to your physical orders so you can stick those in your books.

There was also a mention for some curated book lists from me and I will work on adding some of those recs to a blog post every newsletter. Here's a short one for ya this week.

Finally, WRITING UPDATES. Book 2 - The Wings of Shattered Fire - is sitting at 186K. My goal for draft 1 was to hit a minimum of 210K (I am a chronic underwriter, which means I add details usually in the second draft and actually add words to the manuscript). That leaves me with approx 25K to my goal, which roughly translates to 5-6 chapters... EXCEPT I definitely have more than 5-6 chapters of story left to tell. This is all a good thing! I feel like this draft is a lot less "rough" than my others in the past, so when it is finished, there will not be as much to edit as before. Faster turnaround for you!

Here's the reason I know the end of my story but haven't had the time to get those words out fast enough.... thank you all for your patience as I discover my new schedule as a full time mom <3

Review Copies:

I realize that last time when I asked about review copies, I was probably a little too ambitious with the week turnaround. So, I'm opening up the review copies for my debut series again! This time, I'm looking for people with a history of reviewing, but I'm extending that timeline to the end of August. I want everyone to feel they have the time and energy to read without it being a chore, so I apologize if that was presumptuous of me. I respect you so much already and I want reading to be enjoyable!
